HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT "ACCOUNTING ANALYSIS AND AUDIT"
The department was organized in 1976 by decision of the Main Directorate of Higher Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR. The founder and first head of the department was candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Israilov M.I.
In subsequent years, the department was headed by associate professors:
- – from 1977 to 1990 – Maralov T.M., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from 1990 to 1993 – Israilov M.I., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from 1993 to 1994 – A. Erdoolatov, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from 1994 to 2000 – Sabirov N.S., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from 2000 to 2009 – Akmatova Z.A., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from 2009 to 2010 – Bukanova A.I., acting associate professor;
- – from 2010 to 2011 – Sheralieva Zh.A., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – from June 2011 to 2020 Baysalova Zh.M., candidate of economic sciences, associate professor;
- – since 2020, the department has been headed by Omuralieva D.K., doctor of economic sciences, professor.
Currently, 8 people work at the department:
– doctor of economic sciences, professor Omuralieva D.K.;
– candidate of economic sciences, associate professors: Baysalova Zh.M., Zholdoshbekova S.J., Chortonbaeva A.T.;
– candidate of economic sciences, acting associate professor: Kozhomkulova D.N.;
– acting associate professor Bukanova A.I.;
– senior lecturers: Bedebayeva K.R., Kadyralieva Zh.M.
The degree of the department is currently 71,4%.
This department is one of the leading departments of the university, which trains highly qualified specialists, graduate students, doctoral students – with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the profile “Accounting, analysis and audit”, and in general, highly qualified specialists in the field of economics. In the activities of the department, a significant place is given to improving the scientific level and pedagogical skills of teachers. Teachers of the department regularly attend advanced training courses on various topics from leading scientific centers, universities, industry in Kyrgyzstan and foreign countries, improving their professional level.
The staff of the department actively participates in international scientific and practical conferences, forums, congresses and other events.
The teaching staff is constantly working on improving the educational process, work programs, teaching materials, international relations, as well as on the double diploma program. In 2021, together with the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, 2 areas were opened: business analytics for bachelors, and in 2022 a joint profile “Audit and financial consulting” for undergraduates was opened.
In 2022, together with the department of “Higher mathematics and mathematical modeling”, the profile “Digital Analytics” was opened. In the modern world, the use of digital resources and technologies is a prerequisite for successful financial and economic activity in any professional field. Graduates of the Digital Analytics profile are specialists with high digital literacy who successfully solve issues of digital consumption and security. The curriculum of this profile includes disciplines that allow you to master the mechanisms of new technological trends in the field of digitalization of various sectors of the economy. The emergence of the “Digital Analytics” profile in the “Economics” direction is due to the business community’s request for specialists capable of conducting in-depth analysis in the interests of the company, with knowledge in the field of IT and economics. Graduates of the profile can not only find employment in private IT companies, but also successfully work in the public sector.
